Steer needed a new website that would outline their consultancy services and career opportunities more clearly.
A new website with refined information architecture, built on new design system of responsive modular components.
I ran UX workshops, conducted user research, produced wireframes and prototypes, and created UI designs.
Research showed that users struggled to find relevant information on the old site. I conducted workshops, card sorts and tree tests to create a more intuitive information architecture that presents relevant content based on user profiles.
A key ambition was to provide more engaging content to potential recruits. A careers section was developed to highlight Steer's unique culture and benefits, along with a clear list of available vacancies and simple online application form.
Analytics data showed that an ever-increasing proportion of visits were from mobile devices. The website was carefully designed and built to ensure it displays optimally across a wide range of different devices and screen sizes.
Steer have a very successful graduate scheme, so we created a section of the website specifically for potential grads. This includes details about how the scheme works, interviews with current grads, FAQs and an online application form.
